• This award-winning course from St. John Ambulance teaches the skills necessary to care for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers. It emphasizes safety, dealing with emergencies and first aid basics. Course materials include an instructor's guide, a student activity book, a certificate suitable for framing and a wallet-size certificate.
  

Class Visits/Library Orientation Tours/Research Skills

• Our class visit program is a great way to introduce students to the informational and recreational resources available to them at their public library. Once the children reach
  grade 4, we offer a research skills orientation which is curriculum based.

Volunteer/Community Service Hours Program

• Students can apply to volunteer at our library by completing an application form available at our circulation desk. Volunteering will teach students valuable skills and help them to reach their required community service hours.
